30 June 2021 – Today I visited the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. I started the day on a small plane flying over the canyon. Then, I took a private off-road tour of the area with a guide that also included some hiking. I can not even describe what I saw today. Pictures don’t really do it justice and I am not a good enough writer to describe it. What I will say is that it is so much bigger than I ever could have imagined. It is ginormous! I was so enamored with the size and beauty of the canyon that going close to the edge and hiking narrow paths on the rock edge didn’t even frighten me. Everyone should take the opportunity to visit.
